Due to the escalating expenditure on healthcare globally, the Health Ministries of many countries have introduced various schemes, policies, programs, and agreements on pharmaceutical pricing to curb healthcare-related costs and expenses. Tendering is one such formal procedure employed by governments and institutions to purchase medications using competitive bidding, which is essential for effective healthcare cost management.
